Caution: Journalist in Training

The idea of university is a scary one, but the thought of transitioning from a first year student to a second year student is frightening. Oh no, the responsibilities!

Becoming a second year student, you know that the actions you make now will help you further down the line. University itself is great because you get a taste of the profession you want to be accustomed to by people who have shared the same job you want. With courses like journalism though, it’s not exactly how many text books you study from cover to cover but how much you exert yourself into the outside world and create something for yourself.

With this blog, I intend to do just that. Over the course of the year (or longer if I keep this going) I’ll be going back to my roots by reviewing music before adventuring into film. There’ll also be news pieces as well depending on any events happening around as well, not to mention a portfolio of photography that will be building up.

The plans for the future are big. There’s more on the way that’s currently underway that has to be secret, but as soon as those plans form then they’ll be on this blog.

So for the time being, just sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy the work!
